ELKALUB helps to reduce abrasion and wear

Chains are used for force transmisission as well as for transportation purposes. Since they are made by a lot of individual links witch are moveable towards each other the use of lubricants is highly recommended to reduce friction and wear.

Due to the design of chains the lubricant needs to fulfill the following requirements:

• the lubricant has to penetrate well into the chain
• the areas to be lubricated have to be wetted well
• the lubricant has to protect well against wear
• the lubricant has to protect against corrosion
